I am the Chong Khoon Lin Professor of Business in the Economics Division at Columbia Business School. I am a microeconomic theorist working on game theory, mechanism design, and information design, with applications to industrial organization and market design. A central theme is that institutions determine not only who gets what but also who learns what, and that oftentimes the two must be designed together.

I am an affiliated faculty member of the Economics Department at Columbia University and a Research Affiliate in Organizational Economics at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). I serve as Coeditor at Economic Theory and as an Associate Editor at Theoretical Economics and the Journal of the European Economic Association.

I received my PhD from Northwestern in 2016 and a Sloan Research Fellowship in 2024.
